Since 2000, I’ve been offering clients in San Francisco cutting edge medical services. I’m also here to provide my patients with the information they need to better understand and manage their own health. Below are some of the most frequently asked questions I’ve received. How Does It Work?

Simply click Join Now to complete the request to join, complete the patient intake paperwork, pay your one-time registration fee ($100 + shipping and tax which includes your home medical kit) and first month's membership fee ($15.99/month for one child, or a flat family rate of $19.99/mo if you have more than one child) to receive your home medical kit and access to one of our board certified pediatric primary care providers whenever you need it!

Will my insurance cover my visit?

Insurance is not required and we do not bill insurance. 


Through your paid monthly membership, you have access to reach one of us whenever you need to and as often as you need to.

What is included?

  • 24/7 Access to expert, board certified, pediatric primary care providers and lactation counselors for one flat monthly fee.

  • Digital otoscope for examining the ears.  Digital otoscope is compatible with Android phones, PCs and Macs.  If you do not own one of these, but have an iPhone, please contact us upon sign-up to let us know.  There is an option for an iPhone-only compatible digital otoscope for an additional fee.

  • Pulse oximeter to measure heart rate and blood oxygen levels.

  • Digital oral thermometer.

  • Unlimited telehealth visits every month.

  • Prescriptions, lab, Xray orders and even school/daycare notes when indicated.

Can I get a same-day appointment?

Yes! Once you have joined Pediatrics On Call, registered your child, and received your medical kit in the mail, you simply initiate contact through the telehealth platform and will be in touch with one of us within minutes.

What if I have more than one child?

We offer prorated monthly fees for each additional child!  The first child is $15.99/mo, but if you have more than one child the rate is only a flat family rate of $19.99/mo.  The initial registration fee and kit is a one-time fee of $100 + shipping and tax per family, so you do not need to pay that for each child.

What if I need a visit right now but have not yet joined?

Simply click Join Now to complete the "Request to Join" and then call us at 386-256-7695 to let us know you need a visit now.  We will send over the patient intake paperwork for you to complete.  Once we receive the forms and consents back and activate your membership, we will return your call for a telelhealth visit.  The included medical kit will be shipped and you can expect to receive that within 7-10 days, but we can still do a telehealth visit without the kit as long as an ear examination is not needed.  Then rest assured the next time you need us we're here for you right away!
